Favorite Restaurants: Ajijic to San Juan Cosala

Everyone loves to eat out and in Lake Chapala we are fortunate enough to have an abundance of great restaurants with terrific prices. So where should you go for a great meal? Moving from the town of Ajijic westward, here are a few of our personal favorites. Casa del Waffle – Located just west of Ajijc on the mountain side, this is a popular Mexican chain restaurant (similar to IHOP) which features tremendously large breakfasts. Expect line ups on the weekends as it is popular

    Eating Out in Lake Chapala

At Lakeside, eating out is very much a social activity as well. Where good friends get together, and old acquaintances renewed. Most restaurants offer outdoor seating, and with our perfect year around climate, outdoor dining is the way to go 365 days a year! The Lakeside area offers a large variety of restaura

I am glad you asked. Here is a brief summery of some of the wonderful things that keep us all so very busy each and every day. As I always like to say “You need 6 more hours in a day and 4 more days the week to accomplish all you wan

    Restaurant Review: Teocintle

Gastronomic delights await you in Ajijic. This new Ajijic restaurant just opened up in January 2017 serving authentic Mexican and pre-hispanic foods. The food is inspired from the interior provinces Hidalgo and Puebla and southern states of Mexico such as Oxacca, Yucatan, and Baja
