Pricing for golf is always difficult to pinpoint as there are so many variables. There are many different rates for weekdays vs weekends, twilight play, member vs non member, etc. but I will try to give you an idea of the pricing and information about the courses with links to their websites. Also keep in mind that caddies are usually compulsory on all golf courses in the Guadalajara area.

Chapala Golf and Country Club - A popular Lakeside Golf Course for Expats
Country Club de Chapala (CCC) is a semi-private country club, offering a challenging 9 golf course with beautiful surroundings. The golf course is built along the side of a mountain, with incredible views of Lake Chapala and surrounding mountains. You will find many holes have varying elevations and provide almost every imaginable lie. You will be challenged with blind shots, tree-lined fairways, and doglegs. You will enjoy practicing on a full-scale practice range with pitching area, putting green and sand trap practice area.
General Rate: 07:00 to 14:00 pm Monday to Friday: 1,200 pesos (18 Holes or less)
Special rates: After 14:00 to 19:00 Monday to Friday: 650 pesos (18 Holes or less)
Saturday & Sunday: 650 pesos (18 Holes or less)

Located in San Antonio, a mere 5 minutes from Ajijic, this hilly and challenging 9 hole course that will test your skills as a golfer as well as your cardio vascular system and legs. Caddies are compulsory.

Green fee: Monday to Friday 450 pesos

An 18 hole semi-private course located 5 minutes north of the Guadalajara International Airport.
Long and interesting holes. Immaculate fairways and greens. Great elevated 14th par 3 over water. This course has a flexible seasonal memberships for those who come to this area for only part of the year, or other options for full time residents. There are not many other golf courses like this in Mexico!
Rates: Their prices are all over the map. They have Monday specials for 600 pesos (plus caddie 200 pesos). They also have coupons- 10 rounds for an average cost of around 650 pesos + caddie. Caddies are compulsory Mon/Wed/Fri. If anyone just wants to show up at the pro shop to play without any prior arrangements, they can expect to pay close to 2000 pesos.

El Cielo Golf & Country Club

A beautiful 18 hole course situated 2000 m (6500 ft) above sea level on López Mateos in Guadalajara. It has spectacular views of the city, and is a favorite golf destination for Lakeside golfers.
Rates: Monday's 650 pesos; Tues-Fri 850 pesos; Weekends 1100-1300 pesos. (plus caddie 250 pesos)
Santa Anita Golf & Country Club
Very nice, high end, private 18 hole golf course in an exclusive Guadalajara community. Again, on López Mateos before Costco. They recently opened their course to green fee play.
Rates: Green fee play on Monday's only: 650 pesos + caddie
The courses in Guadalajara are normally closed on Mondays, so that is why they have the special rates. Golfers can not expect to receive any special pricing, other than what is advertised by the golf course, since most are private or semi-private courses.
