Yoga in Ajijic

January 30, 2017

One of the best places to relax and meditate is in Ajijic. The beauty of the area never ceases to amaze me. Abundant wildlife and water birds abound and the air is clean and fresh at 5100 feet.

The Lake Chapala area has many studios that offer meditation, yoga and spiritual learning.

The largest commercial studio in the area is the Drishti Center. They feature 28 classes per week along with a separate Pilates reformer side. They often have special events so be sure to check their website for the latest information:

Another is Vastu Karma Yoga Center which is 100% by donation. You can't beat that for value! Their Facebook page has all the info:

More on the spiritual side of things, there is the Center for Spiritual Living. Founded in 2009, they offer a busy schedule of events and education courses that will help you transcend into spiritual harmony with the Creator.

Then there are the ones that you don't find on the google searches. These little gems are often run out of someone's house. They can be hard along the cobblestone streets of Ajijic, but so worth it. The yogis are highly skilled masters in their field and prefer to work with small groups.

If you are interested in learning more about these, give me a shout through my 'contact' page and I'll help you find the one most suited to your interests.
